(Dan Tri) – A senior leader of the European Union (EU) said that there is no `magic formula` to end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours as declared by former US President Donald Trump.

`Miracles only exist in the holy land of Lourdes. We cannot find a magic formula to solve this problem (Russia-Ukraine conflict) within 24 hours. But I know, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky invited

He emphasized: `The people who want peace the most are of course the Ukrainians, and I’m sure they will be very happy if President Trump can give them the magic formula to end the war in 24 hours.`

The above comment was made after former US President Donald Trump once again attracted attention with his statement that he could quickly end the conflict in Ukraine.

The former owner of the White House repeatedly affirmed that he has the ability to quell the conflict within 24 hours if he is re-elected as US president next November.

`Before I get to the Oval Office, I will end the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine. I will solve the problem and I will solve it quickly and it will not take me more than a day,` Mr. Trump said.

According to the revelation, his way to resolve the conflict is to force President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to sit at the negotiating table and make certain concessions.

However, Kiev is skeptical about Mr. Trump’s statement, saying his peace plan is `unfeasible`.

The Kremlin also said yesterday that Russia does not know how former US President Donald Trump can resolve the Ukraine conflict and there is currently no contact between US and Russian officials on this issue.

Negotiations to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine have stalled since March 2022.

While negotiations stalled, the conflict in Ukraine devolved into a protracted war of attrition.

New Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said over the weekend that Ukraine needs to cede territory to Russia to end the conflict.

However, Ukraine immediately rejected this proposal.

Ukraine calls on the US and Western allies to continue providing aid to the country to quickly end the conflict.

US officials believe that the next few months are important for Ukraine’s defense capabilities, so the US Congress needs to quickly approve additional military aid to Kiev.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Russia continued to attack missiles and drones in Ukraine.
