GWM, a car brand from China, has just officially launched the high-end SUV GWM Tank 500 HEV in the Indonesian market with a price of 1,196,000,000 rupiah (about 1,888 billion VND), only half the price of its competitor.

With a competitive price, GWM Tank 500 HEV promises to bring many outstanding features and experiences.

GWM Tank 500 HEV has a square, strong design in the traditional American SUV style.

In terms of size, the car has length x width x height parameters of 5,078 x 1,934 x 1,905 (mm), respectively.

On the exterior, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is equipped with automatic on/off headlights, house light function, automatic high/low light switching, LED daytime running lights (DRL), LED taillights, LED fog lights.

In addition, there is also an electrically adjustable rearview mirror with turn signals, front and rear automatic wipers, roof rack and shark fin antenna, automatic electric rear door, along with electric adjustable steps.

GWM Tank 500 HEV uses 20-inch alloy rims covered with tires size 265/50 R20.

Moving to the interior, the car has all the modern amenities such as a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a 14.6-inch infotainment screen compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and music.

There are also wireless charging, automatic vehicle activation and exit system, automatic air conditioning, speed-based volume control, electric steering wheel with integrated audio control and driving information, paddle shifters.

Other features include electronic handbrake, automatic parking, driving mode controller, electronic gear lever, smart lock, push-button start, 8-way power driver’s seat and electric lumbar support.

GWM Tank 500 HEV is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharged (VGT) gasoline engine, direct fuel injection, 1,998 cc capacity, integrating hybrid technology to improve performance.

The gasoline engine produces a maximum capacity of 244 horsepower at 5,500 – 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 380 Nm at 1,700 – 4,000 rpm.

Safety equipment on the car includes front/side/curtain airbags, 360-degree panoramic camera, Cruise control, traffic jam assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and assistance.
