“I will deploy the US military and quickly solve the problem.
President Trump said all those who threaten the lives and property of innocent people will be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
In his speech at the Rose Garden, President Trump announced he was taking presidential action to `stop the violence and restore security and safety in America.`
“I am mobilizing all resources, local and federal, civilian and military, to protect the rights of law-abiding Americans,” Mr. Trump said.
President Trump affirmed that his measures will be effective `immediately`, and `strongly recommended` that state governors deploy the National Guard `in numbers large enough to overwhelm
“Mayors and governors must establish an overwhelming presence until the violence is quelled,” Mr. Trump added.
“If a city or a state does not take the necessary actions to protect the lives and property of their people, I will deploy the US military and quickly solve the problem for them,” Mr. Trump said.
While the president was speaking, riot police and the military were still clashing with protesters in front of the White House.
“As we speak, I am deploying thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel and law enforcement officers to prevent riots, looting, vandalism, attacks and destruction of property.
