Vietnamese women’s volleyball `takes over` the 2023 Victory Cup

Yesterday (January 8), the 2023 Victory Cup Award Voting Council met and made a shortlist in each category before finding the most deserving person at the Gala night taking place on the 16th.
Accordingly, the outstanding Vietnamese women’s volleyball team was shortlisted for 3 categories of the 2023 Victory Cup, including: Female athlete of the year;
In the Female Athlete of the Year category, the owner and captain of the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team – Tran Thi Thanh Thuy excellently surpassed many other strong names to be in the top 3, along with Nguyen Thi Oanh (Athletics).

2023 is a particularly successful period for Thanh Thuy.
Meanwhile, the women’s volleyball team will have to compete fiercely with the women’s soccer team in the Team of the Year category.
If the women’s soccer team with elite names like Huynh Nhu, Bich Thuy, Thanh Nha, etc.

The remaining team on this list is the women’s 3×3 basketball team, which for the first time helped Vietnamese basketball win gold at the SEA Games.
In the Coach of the Year category, Captain Nguyen Tuan Kiet excelled in his participation, along with Coach Tran Thi Vui (Takrawk) and Coach Nguyen Hoang Ngan (Karate).
Female Athlete of the Year: Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (Volleyball), Nguyen Thuy Linh (Badminton), Nguyen Thi Oanh (Athletics).
Male Athlete of the Year: Nguyen Huy Hoang (Swimming), Nguyen Van Khanh Phong (Gymnastics), Pham Quang Huy (Shooting).
Young athletes of the year: Le Khanh Hung (Golf), Tran Thi Ngoc Yen (Takrawbasket), Tran Thi Nhi Yen (Athletics).
Coach of the year: Nguyen Tuan Kiet (Volleyball), Tran Thi Vui (Takakakraw), Nguyen Hoang Ngan (Karate).
Team of the year: women’s indoor volleyball team, women’s soccer team, women’s 3×3 basketball team.
Teammate of the year: women’s kata team (Nguyen Thi Phuong, Luu Thi Thu Uyen, Nguyen Ngoc Tram), women’s 4x400m track and field relay team (Nguyen Thi Huyen, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh
Outstanding disabled athletes of the year: Le Van Cong (Weightlifting), Le Tien Dat (Swimming), Dang Thi Linh Phuong (Weightlifting).
