Automobile manufacturers are ‘knocking on the door’ of the Chinese market to find ways to increase sales in the context of `demand` in the US and Europe showing signs of decline.

“China is playing a leading role in the digital transformation and electrification of the entire auto industry,” said Ford Motor CEO Jim Farley.

However, to penetrate successfully, they must invest and spend enormous resources to increase competitiveness in an already crowded market.

In addition, the rise of Chinese car manufacturers also threatens the sales of long-standing brands.
